Sachin Tendulkar is known for his love for food. The Master Blaster of Indian cricket often shares his food moments on his official Instagram account. As per the recent updates, he enjoyed Pumpkin Chicken Curry (Do’o Gominda), a Garo delicacy, during his trip to Meghalaya, prepared by Meghalaya chef Nambie Marak. He loved it so much that he even asked for a second serving. Here's how you can also make it at home.

1 tbsp olive oil, 500 gms boneless chicken, 2 tsp yellow curry powder, 1 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp ground ginger, 1 1/2 tsp brown sugar, salt to taste, 1 onion, 3 garlic cloves, 3/4 cup full-fat coconut milk, and 1/2 cup pumpkin puree

Wash and cut chicken pieces and set them aside.

Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken pieces and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.

Now, add garam masala, curry powder, ground ginger, brown sugar, and salt. Cover and cook for another 1-2 minutes or until fragrant.

Next, add the onion and garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes or until softened.

Stir in the coconut milk, pumpkin purée and some water. Bring to a boil then reduce the heat to low and simmer.

Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken and the chicken to cook through.

Once done, serve hot with steamed rice.
