The former “Wiseman” of the Bloodline, Paul Heyman has appreciated former Bloodline member Solo Sikoa and has acknowledged him as the most improved wrestler in the company, since WrestleMania 40. Interestingly, it was Sikoa who had brutally eliminated Heyman from the Bloodline last year, after Roman had gone on a hiatus following WrestleMania 40. But now that Heyman is back to his cunning ways, (his betrayal against CM Punk and Roman), the mischievous manager might have had a change of heart for a fellow heel.
Paul praises SoloWhile speaking to ‘Shak Wrestling’ before WrestleMania 41, the former Wiseman of Roman Reigns talked about Solo Sikoa’s ascendance to being the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief and even going toe to toe against his former Tribal Chief Roman Reigns at the start of this year. After Cody Rhodes defeated Roman at WrestleMania 40 to dethrone him as the Undisputed WWE Champion, the “OTC” had gone on a sabbatical from WWE. In his absence, Solo did not just step up to become the new leader of the Bloodline but also challenged Roman to call himself the new Tribal Chief. Although Roman came back and fought a long battle against Sikoa and his new recruits to recapture the title of the “OTC”. Heyman is of the opinion that Sikoa is one of the most improved wrestlers of WWE, in the last few years.
The Statement"I think Solo Sikoa was the single most improved performer in WWE from WrestleMania 40 through this week right now and I am so proud of what he accomplished in that time. I would dare say that if you look back a few years from now at the year that he had and carrying that side of SmackDown, that it wasn't only the most improved performer of the past year, that he is perhaps in a one-year span, the most improved performer over a one-year span ever," said Heyman, admiring Solo. Continuing on the same, Paul stated "He went from being a stoic mute to being someone who can carry his end of the microphone against anybody that he wanted to including me, including Roman Reigns, including anybody that stepped up against him on the microphone. Solo Sikoa held his own. I did not hear of, witness nor read about even on the cynical internet, of a bad match that he had over the course of the past year. He delivered in the ring, he delivered on the mic, he carried SmackDown from an antagonist position on the mic. Even after I was gone, still carried his end of it and then held his own against Roman on the mic as well.”
The ReasonSuch words of appreciation from Heyman might come as a surprise to many but the point to be noted is that Paul has become a “heel” once again in WWE. He betrayed both his best colleagues, Roman and CM Punk at WrestleMania 41 to side with Seth Rollins. Then on RAW, he even introduced Bron Breakker as his newest disciple. Therefore praising another big heel of WWE does actually make sense now. What do you think about this admission from Heyman? Drop your comments below.
