Palak Tiwari will soon be seen in a horror comedy The Bhootnii. This is the first time the actor will be seen in this genre. Last seen in a drama Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan the actress thinks that it is quite an interesting genre to deal with as an actor as one needs to strike a balance between horror and comedy.
Talking about her favourite film in the genre, Palak tells us, "My favourite is Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The original was phenomenal. It was such a brilliant piece of horror mixed with comedy. I still remember Akshay (Kumar) sir’s jokes and Vidya (Balan) maam's horror sequences. I think I was way too young when I saw that film. Even though it had comedy I got scared watching that film.”
About working on the Sanjay Dutt starrer, Palak said, “See, Bhool Bhulaiyaa was a serious take on horror. This one is all from a very funny perspective. Our director Sidhaant Sachdev sir who has also written the film was clear with his vision so along with comedy and horror we also have romance. I have not seen such a genuine romance that has such a funny angle to it. I was really attracted to the film from the word go.”
Meanwhile, in an earlier chat with us, Palak who's known to be a part of fashion shows and has walked as a celeb showstopper shared her thoughts on the ongoing debate on celebs eating into the spotlights of models. She told us, “A fashion show is about the designer’s vision coming to life. When a designer envisions an actor as a showstopper, we’re there to support that vision. If they choose me, I aim to walk in a way that makes them proud.”
