Reacting to one of the deadliest attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, he called the incident “horrific,” condemned the killing of innocent people as “evil,” and offered prayers for the victims' families.

Terrorists Open Fire on Tourists in Pahalgam
On Tuesday afternoon, terrorists linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba opened fire on a group of tourists in Pahalgam. One person was killed and at least 20 others were injured. Eyewitnesses said 2-3 men in army uniforms attacked while tourists were enjoying horseback rides at Baisaran Meadows. The Resistance Front claimed responsibility.

Security Forces Launch Anti-Terror Operation
Security forces quickly reached the spot and launched a large-scale anti-terror operation to track down the attackers. Shocking videos from the scene showed people lying injured and motionless, while panicked women were seen desperately searching for their loved ones.

Kesari Chapter 2 is inspired by true events and follows the brave journey of C. Sankaran Nair, a barrister who boldly challenged the British Empire in court after the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Akshay Kumar plays Nair, R Madhavan portrays British lawyer Neville McKinley, and Ananya Panday stars as Dilreet Gill. The film is based on The Case That Shook the Empire by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat.
