As the New York Giants are going through the final process for the preparation of the NFL Draft, it has been reported that they will do a private workout with Sanders.
The private workout has been scheduled on Thursday, April 17- just one week before the first round of the NFL Draft. The Giants hold the No.3 pick in the draft, and it has been heard that they will consider selecting the Colorado quarterback.
Shedeur Sanders to have a private workout with the New York Giants just ahead of the NFL Draft
The NFL insider Adam Schefter reported that the club will be in Boulder later this week to have a private workout with Sanders.
According to ESPN's Todd McShay, the decision to get back Shedeur Sanders back in the circle has been taken by owner John Mara himself.
“Recorded this before the news of the NYG brass flying to Boulder for one last look at Shedeur. It lines up precisely with the information I shared on today’s show re: the NYG still considering Shedeur at No. 3,” McShay said as recorded by Athlon Sports.
“It’s worth mentioning, sometimes ownership can get involved with decisions like these… just saying,” Todd McShay said.
Sanders is an overall different story. A versatile player and is considered to be the second-highest rated quarterback in the 2025 NFL draft, leaving behind Miami's Cam Ward.
It is also known that Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter and Colorado cornerback Travis Hunter can grab the No.3 pick. With this, it has also been reported that the Giants can even fix a few new spots.
