According to a clip shared by MLB, Tampa Bay Rays star Chandler Simpson simply went on to decline the claim made by the Atlanta Braves star Micahel Harris II. If I am in that video it’s aligned in a way where the video looks off, but Mike has never beat me in a race. He never will, never have, but I mean he can move a little bit.”During a recent interview with USA Today Sports, Simpson spoke about his love for baseball and being the undisputed king of speed in the MLB world. He said-“That’s my dream. I feel like God gave me the gift to motivate and inspire other generations that come after me. I mean, I’ve heard it my whole life about the little power I have. But you don’t have to hit home runs in this home-run era. There’s other stuff that I can do well on the field that can make up for it.”Reportedly, Chandler Simpson had swiped 104 bases in 121 tries last season across Double-A and Triple-A, making him the first minor leaguer since 2012—and just the third in the past two decades—to reach the 100-steal mark in a single season. Also Read: “It’s really tough”- Alex Bregman reacts to Triston Casas injury update during the crucial time for Red Sox
