NEW DELHI: In the aftermath of a thrilling IPL 2025 clash between Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals, the spotlight wasn't just on the Super Over drama, but also on a heartwarming post-match exchange between two of the game’s fiercest competitors: Yashasvi Jaiswal and Mitchell Starc.
The two were at the centre of a now-viral sledging moment during the India-Australia Test series in the last Border-Gavaskar Trophy, where Jaiswal cheekily told Starc, “It’s coming too slow,” after defending a back-of-length delivery.

The comment, caught on stump mic, drew laughs and sparked light-hearted chatter among fans, with Starc later revealing he hadn’t even heard it in real-time.
That tension, however, seemed to have melted away during Wednesday night’s IPL thriller at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

After Starc's superb final over helped push the match into a Super Over, which Delhi eventually won, cameras caught Jaiswal and Starc embracing with smiles and sharing a few friendly words.
Jaiswal was heard asking, “Are you having fun in Delhi?” to which Starc, with a grin, responded, “We have been here for five days.”
