Samay Raina, a comedian who was embroiled in controversy earlier this year, has returned on Instagram and planned an enormous international tour.Raina, 27, who hosts the YouTube comedy show India's Got Latent, has been off social media since February, when an FIR was filed against him and others for alleged filthy language in one of the show's episodes. He was also summoned by police for questioning over the case. On May 14, the comedian returned to Instagram, where he shared a reel and a series of stories about close friends and family. Raina announced that he will be visiting Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand beginning June 5.Raina's Instagram Stories included a candid photo of her raising a toast with fellow content creator Apoorva Mukhija, commonly known as The Rebel Kid. Mukhija was also listed in the FIR, having starred in the same contentious episode. Raina's Stories provided an insight into his life over the last few months, ranging from lunches with comedian Gursimran Khamba and a gym session to a video call with his parents and a visit with Tanmay Bhat. The photographs were sent without words but were quickly followed by an emotional statement. In the post he wrote, "Aaj kuch zyada hi storyiaan daaldi.
Bohot ghutan si thi yaar kya bataau kaafi nikaal diya ek saath hi. I love you all. I'm so happy to be experiencing all this love. I can't wait to see you guys in my shoes abroad and in India. I'm so grateful to all of you." Earlier, Samay made his first public appearance after the controversy and yet again left the fans in splits with his witty humour. When asked about whether he would bring the show back, he dodged the question and spoke about the series who's premier he had been attending. He said, “I haven’t watched the series. I had gone out for a workout in a gym. This is my friend, and I just came in with him. I have no idea what you are talking about”
