In an official statement, the BCCI said, "After extensive consultations with government and security agencies and all key stakeholders, the Board has decided to proceed with the remainder of the season." The first game after the resumption will be Royal Challengers Bengaluru versus Kolkata Knight Riders on May 17 in Bengaluru. The six venues hosting league matches per the updated schedule are Bengaluru, Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, and Mumbai. Playoff venues will be announced later, but the dates have been confirmed: Qualifier 1 on May 29, the Eliminator on May 30, Qualifier 2 on June 1, and the final on June 3.
