Airtel launches fraud detection solution to identify and block malicious websites

Leading telecom operator Airtel has launched a world-first AI-driven fraud detection system, designed to identify and block malicious websites across all communication platforms in real time. The solution, which will be automatically enabled for all Airtel mobile and broadband users, aims to protect consumers from the growing threat of online scams.The fraud detection solution will filter malicious domains across:Whenever an Airtel user attempts to visit a flagged website, the system will block access and redirect them to a page explaining the security risk.The surge in digital fraud has led to millions falling victim to scams beyond OTP fraud and deceptive calls.
